WHEN: The 2nd & 4th Thursday every month
TIME: 6pm –7pm
WHERE: Evangelical Presbyterian Church –
710 Ridgely Avenue
WHO: 3 groups – 6-9 yrs, 10-13 yrs, 14-18 yrs
WHY:
- A safe place to share questions, concerns and feelings
- Connect with peers going through a similar experience
- Understand the parent’s illness in an age-appropriate way
- Help reduce stress and anxiety
- Learn coping skills
- Develop a greater sense of well-being
- Have fun and make new friends who understand
