The number of cancer patients treated every year at AAMC is staggering, and the incidence of cancer is increasing every year. In 2004, 1,281 patients were treated at AAMC for cancer. With your support, we can build the Wellness House and provide the emotional, psychological and logistical support that these patients and their loved ones need to beat their illness.
The programs and services provided by Annapolis Wellness House are supported solely through the kindness and generosity of individual and corporate donors, as well as grants from organizations and foundations. Although cancer survivors and their families strongly believe that our services and programs are vital to the recovery and healing process for these individuals and families, these services and programs are not eligible for any insurance reimbursement. Therefore, private donations and grants are vital to our ability to help the more than 4,000 people in Anne Arundel County who are going through the cancer recovery process every year.
